The mobile phone manufacturing giant Oneplus has released a smartphone with a disappearing camera. The device is the first-ever smartphone with a disappearing rare camera called the Oneplus one concept one. The phone was unveiled for the first time at this years CES 2020. Since its announcement on the 17th December 2019, many people have anticipated how the phone will look like.
OnePlus Concept One uses organic particles to create various tints in colour when subject to an electrical field, more like the tech from the electromagnet from car sunroofs.
The phone seems identical to the Oneplus 7T Pro but the software build number and model are different. The disappearing and the reappearing of the camera on the back have got a lot of people talking about this particular phone.
According to OnePlus, the tech took them 18 months of work to be able to make this concept phone work. OnePlus said it’s not going to sell the phone, but was merely going to display the device during the CES 2020 for industry players and the general public.
The OnePlus Concept One will be on display to the media and the general public during CES 2020 in the Palmer 2 showrooms at Wynn Las Vegas from 7 to 10 January. If you’re visiting CES, be sure not to miss it.
Going forward, I believe this technology can be the solution to camera hump in most phones.
