Nana Yaa Brefo has received social media, TV and radio bashing from Ghanaians following the uncouth interview she had with Nana Ama Mcbrown. Some have called for her to retract certain unethical questions asked during that particular interview with Mcbrown. Therefore people will spot on to say the pressure could as well be one of the many reasons she has resigned.
It is not surprising that apparently, the recent interview she granted Nana Ama Mcbrown on Adom TV after the brother of the later Bernard Nyarko made some allegations against her [Nana Ama Mcbrown] may have caused problems between her and the media house she works for[Multimedia]
Seemingly, those speculations may have some iota of truth in them according to what was reported earlier. A source close to the whole resignation brawls said that Nana Yaa Brefo resigned because of her pride. According to the report, Nana Yaa Brefo didn’t see the need to render an unqualified apology to Nana Ama McBrown and Adom TV’s listeners for her unprofessional conduct in that infamous interview she had with the actress.
The source said:
It has been back and forth with the management of Adom TV with Nana Yaa Brefo insisting that she will not apologize today or tomorrow–and that she will rather resign than to apologize to anyone.
To avoid rendering the apology, Nana Yaa Brefo decided to resign, the source added.
The fact is Nana Yaa Brefo’s co-host on the show, Omanhene Kwabena Asante was the one who apologized to Nana Ama Mcbrown when indeed, Nana Yaa Brefo was the one who supposedly goofed.
