A report reaching nanaoseiike.com indicates thatthe Criminal Court 1 Division of the High Court earlier today December 15th, has reminded the earlier ruling to set aside the prison sentence of Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo.

According to the report, Akuapem Polo has been fined instead of the jail term and as such, she is supposed to pay Ghc1000, Ghc500, and Ghc500 penalty units on the three counts concurrently.

The Court had earlier thrown out an appeal filed by her lawyers after Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to spend 90 days in jail on her own plea as she pleaded guilty to a charge of the publication of n*de photos involving her son in April this year.

She served a period into her term and her lawyers later appealed the judgment requesting a stay of execution because he considered it too harsh.

Akuapem Poloo was subsequently granted a Ghc80,000 bail, pending the determination of the appeal.

On Wednesday, December 1, the Court found her appeal without merit and was thereafter authorized to go and continue her 90-day imprisonment.
