To find a missing offline AirPods when it is not connected to Bluetooth or Find My device is turned on seems like an impossible task.
If your AirPods are offline and none of the above is enabled, it makes it more difficult to find it when it gets missing.
However, there’s something you can do and if lucky, you can find your AirPods. Firstly, you should understand that if you didn’t turn on ‘Find My’ [device] before your AirPods went missing, you can’t use it to locate your device.
Secondly, if you see “No location found” under your AirPods when you sign into Find My device, you can’t play a sound to find them. Regardless of the second point, you might be able to obtain directions to the place where they were last paired your missing offline AirPods with your iPhone, iPad or any other compatible Apple device.
If your missing offline AirPods do show up online after a while, you’ll receive a notification on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch you’ve once connected them with.
Remember that Find My is the only way to track or locate a lost or missing device. There is no other Apple service that can find, track, or differently flag your device for you.
The only time you don’t you don’t have access to Find My is when you’re using a managed Apple ID assigned to you by a school or and institution.
