Technology has evolved to a point where humans cannot be without mobile applications. Buying and payment of goods and services, finding information on the web, navigating around a close-by grocery store, restaurants, malls, hospitals, and locations have been made easy due to applications.

Gradually mobile applications are becoming a necessity for smart device users. Every 9 out of 10 persons depend on mobile applications for a specific task. Mobile devices can not function without applications. For this reason, it is important to consider certain factors in choosing which mobile application to install on your phone.

In this post, I’ve put together 7 mobile applications that offer unique benefits to mobile phone users. While this may be true, it is important to note that some of these apps may not work in certain countries.

1. Pexels

Pexels is available on both Android and iOS. This app offers a lot of benefits to online publishers. Pexels offers free stock photos which are free for commercial use, with no attribution required. Pictures on pixels are of high definition that can be used for any purpose without violating copyright infringement.

2. Duolingo

Duolingo is one of the best mobile applications I’ve used. It is an American language learning outlet that offers a digital language-proficiency assessment test. The app offers a variety of learning scope with an opportunity to set a goal with regards to the intensity of your studies. That’s the number of days and time you want to spend studying. The application is available on both Android, Windows, and iOS with both free and premium services.

3. Fiverr

I think this app is an all-in-one online marketplace for freelancers. It is also a great platform for stay home moms/dads or any individual who has special skills or any form of profession. The app is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Users with Fiverr offer all kinds of freelance work from writing/translation, web design, animations, graphics design, programming/tech, digital marketing, music/audio, business, and lifestyle. With 5 dollars, you can get professionals to do your work for you. The app is available on iOS, Windows, and Android.

4. TV Time

The TV Time application is a movie tracking platform. It helps TV series fans to keep track of all the movies they’re watching. The app indicates a date and time a particular movie will be aired or premiered. The app offers a summary of every series giving you a brief idea of what the show is about. Let me also point out that TV Time is an American platform, therefore most of the movies on the app are predominantly from Hollywood. Although there are other movies from other countries, the greatest number of movies are from America. The application is available on iOS, Android, and Windows.

5. Allrecipes Dinner Spinner

Allrecipes Dinner Spinner is a food recipe app that makes available a vast number of recipes from different parts of the world in one place. The app contains cuisines from Mexico, Italy, Spain, China, America, France, Thailand, and some parts of Africa. Allrecipes offers an easy step-by-step cooking guide with options to skip to the part you want to see quickly. Allrecipes is available on Android, iOS, and windows.

The Ginger Keyboard is one of the best proofreading applications presently. It is one keyboard I’ll recommend for everyone. This application proofreads and also rephrases your sentences. It is stocked with over 100 emoji, 1000 plus beautiful emoji art, stickers, and animated GIFs. You can proofread with Ginger keyboards in over 60 languages. In my viewpoint, the only keyboard closer to the Ginger keyboards is the Grammarly keyboard. Ginger is available on Android, iOS, and windows. The free versions offer limited features, but if you want more with the app, I advise you to subscribe to the paid version to unlock additional features.

Google navigation is one of the finest applications people use for navigation. However, Waze offers something special that Google navigation doesn’t. Aside from Waze being used as GPS and maps, it also gives notification on traffic alerts with live navigation on the go. It is not a fluke that the app has over 100 million downloads. Waze is owned by Google and it works on computers and smartphones that support GPS. Waze provides turn-by-turn navigation with user-submitted travel time and route details. It also downloads your location-dependent info over mobile data. Waze keeps you updated on what’s happening on the road. Waze mobile application is available on iOS, Android, and windows.
