Nigerian musicians won’t treat us the way we treat them in Ghana when we visit their country ~ Shatta Wale

Nigerian musicians won’t treat is the way we treat them in Ghana when we visit their country ~ Shatta Wale

Ghanaian reggae/dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, well known as Shatta Wale, has stated that musicians in the country won’t be treated the same as they treat Nigerian musicians in Ghana.

He reinforced the over pampering nature of Ghanaians to foreigners when speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.

The Shatta movement boss stated that no Nigerian musicians will even go close to the hotel of a Ghanaian musician if they are in Nigeria.

Shatta Wale further added that they are a lot of top artistes in Ghana who have not gotten the mileage that Wizkid, Burna Boy and others have gotten.

He told Andy Dosty that there are many talented artistes with good songs in the country—but their attitudes towards the work are being lacked.

Shatta Wale  remained resolute on why he tackles the music business with all the seriousness it deserves and also encouraged Ghanaian musicians to keep doing their jobs without relaxing.
