The inter-cybercrime division of the Ghana Police Service has apprehended 33 fraudsters after raiding a particular hotspot believed to be the breedi
The fraudsters were arrested from their coded areas where they perform these illegal activities after diligent analysis of a series of intelligence gathered from their alleged criminal dealings with the security authorities in Ghana.
Some of the areas the police raided include Kasoa, Nungua, Tema, Maamobi, Ashaiman, Cantonments, and Spintex respectively.
The police upon the raiding discovered some phones, laptops,20 imported cars in addition to some incriminated documents as well.
The suspects were screened by Medical Officers in relation to the COVID–19 protocols and have been kept in police remand awaiting a date to be prosecuted by the court with respect to the laws of the land.

The police have received tips of some other hot spots are still putting measures in place to go after such people too, however, the exact locations have been kept from the public due to security reasons.
